- Then complete Normalcy and Reasonable and Prudent Parent Standard Post-Test (PDF) and submit to your foster care licensor.

Requirements for educational support are as follows:

Education Requirements for Specific Populations
When Statement of Intended Use includes: Specific Education Required
Children from 0 to 6 years old | Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) and Abusive Head Trauma (AHT) every 5 years |
Children from 0 to 8 years old | 1+ hours of approved Child and Restraint Systems education (C.A.R.S.) every 5 years |
Youth ages 18 to 21 | Maltreatment of Vulnerable Adult Education annually – required only when a youth 18 years or older is in the home |
Child Passenger Restraint (“C.A.R.S”, required every 5 years and if caring for children up to age 8):
